Nutfield Man Fined For Fly-tipping

A Nutfield man has been fined for ‘flytipping’.

On Tuesday October the 20th, Charlie Chapman of Mid Street pleaded guilty at Redhill Magistrates Court with failing to deal with waste legally and was fined £700 with costs of £498.

Last November East Park Lane in Newchapel had to be closed after a huge flytip of building waste was left there.

Mr Chapel was tracked down thanks to paperwork found in the rubbish.

The council have told us that they take fly tipping very seriously and offer a reward of up to £500 for information that leads to to a successful prosecution.
