Crawley’s Friday and Saturday markets are moving to The Broadway and Haslett Avenue West from next Friday.

The two sites were identified in a recent analysis by the Retail Study Group as one of the best town centre locations for a market.

There was a delay in the move because Haslett Avenue West did not have permission for street trading. Crawley Borough Council’s Licensing Committee has now given its approval.

The current Queens Square Wednesday market will move to The Broadway towards the end of May before work starts on the three point two million pound regeneration scheme in the square.
