Caterham Robbery

A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Caterham in the early hours of last Saturday morning (Feb 20th).

He’s been bailed to return to the Salfords custody suite in April

The robbery took place outside the Ladybird public house in Guards Avenue sometime between 1.20 and 1.30am.

The victim had left the pub when he was approached by two men, who punched him and threatened him before taking him to the Tesco cashpoint and making him withdraw a substantial amount of cash.

They then made off.

Both suspects are described as white and one is described as 5ft 10 tall and wearing a black beanie hat.

Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries and are still seeking the second man and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have been leaving the pub at the time, or with any other information, to come forward.
