Green Flag For Crawley’s Parks

All three of Crawley’s attractive parks have again been awarded the prestigious Green Flag.

This scheme is run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy to recognise and reward the best green spaces in the country. Winners are judged to be welcoming, safe, well maintained and involve the local community.

This is the fifteenth consecutive year that Tilgate Park has received the award.

Goffs Park has now been awarded the Green Flag nine times and the Memorial Gardens, in the town centre, has also received its ninth Green Flag.

Councillor Chris Mullins, Cabinet member for Wellbeing welcomed the awards.

He said it was testament to the hard work of staff who keep the places looking their best.
