Sussex cricketer picks up four awards

Sussex Cricketer, wicketkeeper-batsman Oli Carter, has picked up four awards last week at the Newcastle City Cricket Club at their end of season presentation night.

Oli spent his winter playing Club Cricket for Newcastle City where his performances led to him being awarded the Newcastle District
Cricket Association Player of the Year award and last week he was
recognised by his peers at the Club’s awards night.

Oli won the Players’ Player, Wicketkeeping Award (most dismissals),
Player of the Year and Most Runs in Grade awards. His highest score of the campaign (96) came against Wallsend, the eventual winners of the 1st grade competition.
