People urged to make more use of pharmacies in Sussex

NHS Sussex is urging those who need help with minor ailments and
illnesses to use their local pharmacy ahead of the coronation weekend.

It’s as health services across the county are experiencing high demand.

A spokesperson for NHS Sussex says pharmacists can help with much more than people think.

Most pharmacies in Sussex will be closed or have reduced hours over the Coronation bank holiday, and the NHS is advising patients to check on their stock of medication order repeat prescriptions now if needed.
