Tandgridge Recycling Advice

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

In an effort to reduce waste over the festive period, Tandridge Borough Council will be sending out the 12 tweets of Christmas to remind people about the 3 Rs.  Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.  Reduce what you buy and use, Reuse what you can and Recycle what’s left.

Some tips include looking for gifts with less packaging, using rechargeable batteries, reusing last year’s spare Christmas cards, and ensuring that you recycle wherever possible.

And there are some great recipes around to help you use up leftovers – it doesn’t have to be Turkey curries all week!

For more information, have a look at Tandridge Council’s web site.
