The cause of a fire outside East Surrey hospital on Monday has been revealed.

Fire Crews have said that electrical fault was to blame for the blaze that incinerated 3 ambulances.

The blaze started in a private ambulance that had just brought an elderly patient to the hospital.

It was park when oxygen cylinders exploded. No-one was injured.

A man who went missing in Crawley yesterday was found safe and well.

Richard McNaught who absconded from care in Tilgate park after being taken there for a day out.

Police were contacted shortly after he went missing at about 2pm yesterday. The NPAS police helicopter assisted in a search of the area.

He was found in the early hours of this morning.

Horsham District Council’s Sports Development team is working with the Holbrook Club in Horsham to introduce the sport of walking netball to the area for the benefit of people aged over 45.

There will be two free taster sessions on Thursday 23rd and 30th June from 11.00am to 12.00 noon.

The taster sessions will be led by local coach Michelle Peckham who has been involved in senior and youth netball in the area for many years.

If the tasters are successful they will lead to more regular opportunities.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is urging people to enjoy the outdoors safely this summer as part of a campaign warning residents to avoid starting fires in the countryside.

Each year the fire service deals with more than 450 wildfires, including the ones in Pirbright and Frensham in 2015 and this causes thousands of acres of countryside and wildlife to be destroyed.

Whether at home or out and about, residents and visitors are being asked to Put out cigarettes and other smoking materials properly – never throw them out of a car window and take all litter home to recycle as magnified sunrays from glass bottles and other items can start a fire.

• Shareholder commitment to the second runway project.
