Suspected Gatwick Terrorists Bailed

A man and woman arrested by counter-terrorism officers at Gatwick Airport and West London have been released on bail.

A 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested on Monday.

The pair, both from Birmingham, were held on suspicion of being involved in preparations for travelling to Syria.

They have strict bail conditions while inquiries are taking place.

Missing Crawley Girl Sought

Police are concerned about the welfare of a missing teenage girl from Crawley.

Charley Tilbury, was last seen leaving a home in Bewbush at around 8:45 Monday evening.

She’s described as white, 5’ 4” with very long brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black leggings and trainers.

A22 Road Death Identified

A man who was killed on the A22 Caterham Bypass has been identified.

31-year-old Thomas Farr, died on March 26, after being hit by a car at around 11 in the evening.

A post mortem revealed he had died of multiple injuries.

An inquest into his death started yesterday (April 6) and has been adjourned to a later date.

Horsham Shop Robbery

Cash and perfume were stolen in a break-in at a Horsham shop on Sunday morning (3 April)

At around a quarter to ten, two men forced the doors at Boots in Horsham town centre.

They stole £2,600 from the tills and a quantity of Chanel Perfume.

Motorcyclist Injured in East Grinstead

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt following a collision with a car in East Grinstead on Saturday (2 April).

The collision between a blue Debri Senda 125 and a silver Ford Focus occurred on the A22 London Road at the junction of Buckhurst Way.

The motorcyclist, a 17 year old local boy, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital where he was described in a serious but stable condition.

The car driver, a woman also from East Grinstead was unhurt.
