Featuring a pop-up planetarium, drone flying, AI-robots and career advice from local employers & High Education Institutions. The focus was about getting children excited about STEM early in life and showing them how fun and rewarding a career in STEM sectors can be. This brilliant event was supported by Crawley Borough Council and London Gatwick and delivered by The STEM Hub.

Horley & Crawley Celebrate St. George’s Day

St. George’s day is officially this coming Tuesday 23rd April.

In the 15th century St. George’s day was a major feast and national holiday in England on a par with Christmas! The tradition of celebration faded by the end of the 18th century after the union of England and Scotland.

Nevertheless, St. George’s day was celebrated in style today. Click below to hear more from the High Street, Horley and Queen Square, Crawley.
