Horley man charged for arson and criminal damage

A Horley man has been charged on eight counts of arson and three counts of criminal damage.

He has been remanded in custody for the offences that took place in the Reigate and Horley areas.

The arson charges involve Horley Lawn Tennis Club, Churchfields Bowls Club, Two Surrey Police vehicles at Reigate Town Hall and a car tyre and a chair in a garden at a property.

Two of the counts of criminal damage were at Barclays bank, one in Horley and one in Reigate.

He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 12th August.
