Bones found in Tilgate Forest confirmed as missing Crawley Man

Bones found in Tilgate Forest have been confirmed as a man reported missing last year.

DNA tests conclude they are 42 year-old Jean Leveque from Crawley.

The first bones had been found by a fisherman near a pond in Pease Pottage towards the end of January.  A further search last month found other remains deeper in the forest.

His death is being treated as unexplained.
