Massage Oils linked to fire in Crawley

Massage oils have been linked to a fire in Crawley.

Fire crews from Horsham and Crawley were called to a small fire in a launderette on Tilgate Parade Saturday evening.

It is believed towels covered in massage oils may have self-combusted.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service warns that although the circumstances are unusual it is not impossible.

It advises people to make sure materials which have absorbed oil are washed at a high temperature and the correct detergent is used.
