Bletchingley Tools Theft

Tools and gardening equipment valued at more than £30,000 were stolen from a business park in Bletchingley last Monday night (8 June).

The items were removed from a container in the Brewer Street area. Thieves forced open doors of a storage unit to access the tree surgery tools, including chain saws, fencing tools and climbing kits.

Inspector Dan Gutierrez of Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team said that the crime has had a devastating effect on a local business.
