Pensioner’s Kitchen Flooded After Burglary

Between 2pm and 3.15pm on the 10th a burglar broke into a house in Campbell Crescent, East Grinstead.

The thief stole jewellery including gold and diamond rings and gold chains as well as two jewellery boxes.

The intruder had also deliberately blocked the kitchen sink and turned on the taps, flooding the room.

Police have renewed appeals to trace a man they wish to speak to in connection with this theft. There’s a CCTV image of him on the Sussex police website and as always if you know anything at all that could help us with the investigation, please get in touch.
