A man has been charged with five offences following the death of 19-year-old Ben Regan in Reigate earlier this year.
Officers were called to Bell Street, outside Joules Bar just after 2am on Saturday, 20 June following reports of a serious accident. A short time later Mr Regan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Last Friday, (11 December) Jake Polmeer from Redhill was charged with several motoring offences including causing death by careless driving.
He’s been released on bail to appear at Redhill Magistrates Court on Monday, 11 January 2016.
Police are also speaking to a woman from Horley in connection with this incident who’s alleged to have permitted a vehicle to be driven with no insurance.
