Horsham Robberies

A woman was robbed and a man was the victim of an attempted robbery in Horsham last Monday (29 Feb)

Around 4pm a man sitting near the skate park near Horsham hospital was threatened with a baton and asked to hand over his watch. He refused and kicked the attacker who ran off towards the station.

Around half an hour later a student had her bag stolen after being pushed by a man in the alley near Horsham fire station. The man then ran off via Hurst Road towards the railway station.

A train awaiting departure was delayed and searched but to no avail.

Police think the attacks are linked to the same suspect – a man of middle eastern appearance in his 20s wearing a dark hooded anorak, jogging bottoms and a camouflage patterned bandana on his face.
