Pedestrian Killed in Crawley Collision

A pedestrian has died after being in collision with a car in Crawley on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A23 Pease Pottage Hill close to the K2 Leisure Centre. An air ambulance attended but the man was declared dead at the scene.

The victim is a 30 year old man who was struck by a dark coloured hatchback.

The driver of the car involved, was taken to East Surrey Hospital suffering from minor injuries and shock.

Sussex Police has asked anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 quoting Operation Raglan.
