Redhill Man Jailed For Outraging Public Decency

A 48-year-old man from Redhill has been sentenced to four years and nine months in jail after he was discovered covertly taking photographs up the skirts of female shoppers in Redhill.

Trevor Beasley had previously been expressly banned from this behaviour by a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

The breach was brought to light by an eagle eyed PCSO who spotted him acting suspiciously in the town centre and gave chase when the offender threw a filming device under a car and ran off.

Beasley admitted his activity, known as ‘upskirting’, which began again just days after his previous sentence for seven counts of making and possession of indecent images of children and one count of outraging public decency.
