Bottles of champagne and cash have been stolen from the bar area at Crawley Town Football Club.

Police officers carrying out a routine patrol, noticed a person standing by the back of the stadium at around 1.30 am last Thursday.

He ran away and officers confirmed there had been forced entry into Redz Bar.   A small quantity of cash had been stolen.

It is believed the same man returned to the bar at around 4.15 am and stole some bottles of champagne.

Police have issued a CCTV image (below) of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the burglary.
