An investigation has been launched into a road rage incident in East Grinstead.

Two men became involved in a dispute on 16th March shorty after four o’clock in the afternoon.

The driver of a silver Honda CR-V was reported to be shouting and threatening the driver of a campervan in East Grinstead High Street.

When the vehicles came to a stop at the traffic lights near London Road, the Honda driver then got out of his car and punched the campervan driver several times.  The victim was still seated in his vehicle.

Both vehicles then left the scene.

The Honda driver is described as white, 6′, thin and his 30’s, and was wearing shorts.

Witnesses to the attack reported it to police; so far neither driver has come forward.
