Over half of parking fine challenges successful in Mole Valley

Over 64% of parking fine challenges in Mole Valley were successful last year.

The figures cover initial disputes relating to on-street parking tickets between January and October 2016.

Success rates vary hugely across the 98 authorities asked, with Basingstoke on 95% at the top and Runnymede at the bottom with 9.2%.

Guy Anker from MoneySavingExpert dot com, said those who have a challenge rejected, should appeal to the independent Traffic Penalty Tribunal, as generally half of all decisions are then overturned.
