Attempted Bank Robbery in Redhill – Two Arrested

An attempted robbery took place at a bank on Station Road in Redhill yesterday afternoon.  

Surrey Police officers were called to the bank following reports that a man entered the building and made threats with a knife to a member of the public.  A customer suffered minor injuries to his hand.  The suspect left the bank and nothing was stolen.  Two men were arrested at the railway station in connection with the incident and taken into police custody.  A small knife has also been recovered.
