Crawley acid attack victim says he’ll never get closure

A Crawley acid attack victim has spoken on camera about how he’ll never get closure because he is reminded of his injuries every time he looks in the mirror.

Samir Hussain had drain cleaner thrown in his face outside Cineworld in Crawley in August 2015 by two men, leaving him with permanent scarring on his face, arms and neck.

In the documentary by Vice he speaks about the incident and criticises the short jail sentences which he says doesn’t act as a deterrent.

It comes as there’s been a spike in the number of acid attacks in the UK, with the most being in London.
