Lyme disease on the rise in West Sussex

Parts of West Sussex have been invaded by killer ticks.

The National Health Institute says some areas are a high risk for Lyme disease, which is spread by the insect and can be fatal if untreated.

The number of cases is rising each year, with estimates between 2,000 – 3,000 recently.
