Banstead Newsagent Robbery

At least three masked men were involved in an attempted armed robbery at a newsagents in Banstead last Wednesday afternoon. (27 September)

The men attempted to kick down the door of Surrey News and Mini Market on Rectory Lane at around twenty past four.
Having failed to gain entry, they made off in a silver vehicle.

It’s thought that one of the suspects had a firearm and another a knife.
