Football Update

Thomas Verheydt netted his first competitive goal for Crawley Town on Saturday.  Verheydt rescued a point at home to Forest Green Rovers.  The draw leaves the Reds in 18th place in League Two.

In the Bostik Premier Division, Merstham lost 1-0 away to Lowestoft Town and in the Bostik South, East Grinstead Town lost 3-1 away to Faversham.  

South Park’s home match against Herne Bay, and Redhill’s match against AFC Hayes were both postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Dorking Wanderers won 4 -1 at home to Leiston in the FA Trophy second qualifying round.  The next round is scheduled for Saturday 25th November.

It’s good news too for Horley Town who are through to the third round of the FA Vase after winning 3-0 away to Meridian VP.
