Surrey Police Launches Partnership To Tackle Hate Crimes

Surrey Police has joined forces with the independent charity Stop Hate UK and Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum with the aim of tackling hate crimes in Surrey.

The initiative’s objective is to improve engagement and trust with local communities so that hate crimes do not go unreported. It also aims to encourage people to report incidents either directly to police or through third party organisations such as Stop Hate UK.

Stop Hate UK runs a 24 hour crime helpline which allows victims and witnesses of hate crime to report the matter to someone they may feel more comfortable with.
