East Surrey Hospital Supports Staff With EU Settlement Scheme

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has announced it will fund applications from staff eligible to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme.  The scheme has been introduced to secure the rights of EU citizens living in the UK post Brexit.

Michael Wilson, Chief Executive of the Trust which runs East Surrey Hospital says it will fund the £65 fee for all applications from current staff.  Full details of the application process for the scheme are yet to be published by the Home Office, however from 29th November, all eligible NHS workers can apply.

Mr Wilson will write to all staff who are recorded as being from the EU to offer support and reassurance.
