NEW FACILITIES FOR LEATHERHEAD LEISURE CENTRE

New facilities at Leatherhead Leisure Centre are due to be completed in the spring of next year.

Facilities include the skate park which is now at the second stage of public consultation to help shape the refurbishment which has been extended until the start of next year.

Residents and skate park users can vote for their top three from six designs submitted by specialist companies. The six designs have been informed by responses to the first stage of consultation in July this year, which saw over 100 people providing their comments.

The votes cast at this stage, combined with the Mole Valley District Council’s technical assessment of the submitted schemes, will decide which scheme will be constructed. The successful company will have the opportunity to make minor changes to the chosen design before construction begins.
