SURREY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO NUMBER OF FAKE BOMB THREATS

A man from Surrey has pleaded guilty to a number of fake bomb threats . 

63-year-old Christopher Butterfield was responsible for the hoax bomb threats that were spread across a seven-day period between February 16th to February 22nd.

Fake bomb threats were called at busy public retails spaces, including supermarkets in Epsom and Banstead last Friday. 

Butterfield was arrested on Monday and remains in custody at present.
