‘Hippy crack” seized in Crawley

A large quantity of nitrous oxide, also known as ‘hippy crack’, has been seized in Crawley.
There are legitimate uses for nitrous oxide including numbing pain during medical procedures, but it is illegal to sell or import the drug for human consumption.

Police found over 100 cannisters, cannabis equipment and £10,000 of cash at an address in Ifield last Wednesday.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and has been released under investigation while enquiries are ongoing.
