More than 30 people were arrested by Sussex Police officers over the weekend, for offences ranging from assault and supply of drugs to criminal damage and drink driving.

The Crawley Police Twitter account announced the 36 arrests, which included at least one person picked up by police on suspicion of burglary.

The officers thanked those who are still abiding by the Government restrictions which remain in place to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.
