West Sussex receives fund to help firms re-open

Councils across West Sussex will be given a share of a £50m government fund to help local businesses re-open safely.

The fund was set up to help councils to introduce safety measures so people can get back to work and customers back to the shops.

Crawley Borough Council will receive over £100,000 while Horsham District Council will get over £128,000.

Councils will have until March next year to apply to the government fund for reimbursement up to their designated amounts.
