A man was assaulted in Crawley on Wednesday evening. 

The man was attacked in Kilnmead.  He suffered serious facial injuries and was taken to hospital.  The suspect is described as white, around 6ft 1, and 25 to 30 years old.  He was wearing a black tracksuit with a shiny black stripe down the sides of the legs.  He left the scene in a vehicle, thought to be a white Ford Fiesta van.
