Historic Murder Investigation Takes New Turn

Residents in Bisley will see a heightened police presence this week as land is dug up as part of a historic murder investigation.

Working alongside the Army and specialist forensic teams, detectives are carrying out the work in relation to the murder of forty-one-year-old Tina Baker, back in 2002.

After an extensive investigation, Tina’s husband Martin was arrested in 2005 and charged with her murder, where he was sentenced to 14 years behind bars.

Tina’s body was never recovered, and police continued with their enquiries. Additional information has led to the decision, to carry out further investigations in the area.
