Surrey and Sussex Police officers are clamping down on uninsured drivers during a national week of action. 

Operation Drive Insured is running throughout this week with the aim of educating motorists on the consequences of uninsured driving.  Driving without insurance can result in disqualification from driving, a minimum of six penalty points and a fine of up to £5,000. 

27Drivers who are caught driving without insurance may have their vehicle seized at the roadside.
