Sussex NHS is urging people with long-term health conditions to book a free flu vaccination to avoid potentially serious illness or even death from the virus.

Last year in the county more than half of those entitled to the jab did not have it done but the NHS says it’s even more important this year with both flu and coronavirus circulating.

Allison Cannon, Ch Nurse Officer, said: “With Covid-19 cases steadily rising nationally this might be your most important flu jab ever.”
