Both Surrey and West Sussex will face Tier 2 coronavirus restrictions from next Wednesday.

It will mean people won’t be able to mix with other households inside, while pubs and bars must remain closed unless they are operating as a restaurant.

Other businesses can operate in a Covid-secure way.

Most areas around the south east will be in Tier 2 with the exception of nearby Kent which will go into Tier 3.
