A light on Crawley’s History

A set of lights that hung in the stairwell of Crawley’s old library has been donated to the town’s Museum,  for future generations to see.

The partial demolition of County buildings in the town has begun but a record containing the site’s history and current photos have been shared with Crawley Museum and is available online.

Demolition and redevelopment of the buildings is part of the town One Public Estate initiative.

The development doesn’t affect the magistrates court or Centenary House.
