A Surrey Police dog saved a man from drowning in a lake in Redhill on Sunday morning.
Police Dog ‘India’ and her handler, PC Paul Bubb were called to the lake in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a missing person who was believed to have gone into the water.

On arrival, India led her handler and colleagues towards the water where they located the man in question. He was then taken to hospital.

Sergeant Will Poole from the Surrey and Sussex Dog Unit, said: “The actions of PD India and PC Bubb saved a man’s life. I would like to commend not only PD India’s incredible natural instincts, but also PC Bubb’s bond with India. His confidence in her and determination to save the man were instrumental in achieving this outcome.”
