Mole Valley DC sponsors Entrepreneur Boot Camp

Surrey’s budding entrepreneurs can join a six-day virtual bootcamp aimed at helping to get their business off the ground.

Mole Valley District Council is sponsoring the Business Hothouse Course, which runs in the evening from the 13th July.

Places for the free event are limited and can be booked through the council.

Topics to be covered include the creation of effective vision and mission statements, competitor and market research, pricing structures and the development of customer personas. Later sessions will delve into the marketing and financial aspects of setting up and growing a young business, helping business owners to navigate issues such as fixed and variable costs, profit and loss accounts, legal contracts and whether to operate as a limited company, partnership or sole trader.

Councillor Clayton Wellman, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Economy, said “We are delighted to offer the future entrepreneurs of Mole Valley this hugely valuable opportunity to gain insightful as well as practical knowledge on how to get a fledgling business up off the ground and running successfully.”
