A blue Ford Transit van which was stolen from Lingfield has now been recovered in Redhill by police.  The van was stolen from Ray Lane on Thursday afternoon. 

The driver of the delivery van tried to prevent the theft but suffered serious injuries after the offender drove off in it at speed.  After leaving Ray Lane, the van is believed to have travelled through Blindley Heath, South Godstone, Outwood and Rathgar Close in Redhill.  The sliding door of the van was open whilst it was being driven. 

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle in the local area.
