A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a collision in Caterham on Friday evening. 

The collision involved a silver Yamaha motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Passat estate car.  It occurred in William Road at the junction with Coulsdon Road.  The motorcyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital. 

People should call police on 101 if they witnessed the collision or if they have dashcam footage of either of the vehicles being driven around 8.15 pm prior to the incident.
