Hundreds of homes across Sussex were left without power, following on from recent severe storms.

Areas including Crawley and Horsham have been affected whilst further afield in Hastings, Rye and Burgess Hill were hit the hardest.

According to a real time lightning map website, up to 86 flashes per minute were recorded at the peak of the storm.
Engineers from UK Power Networks have been out, working hard to resolve the issues.
