Crawley MP Henry Smith To Stand Down at Next Election

The Conservative MP for Crawley, Henry Smith, has announced that he will not be seeking re-election. 

After four continuous terms in office, Mr Smith said it was “time for a new generation”.  He was first elected as a County Councillor in 1997 and became Leader of West Sussex County Council in 2003.  He was elected as Member of Parliament for Crawley in 2010.
