Rail passengers have been warned of disruption for the next six days due to an overtime ban by train drivers in the Aslef union. It is the latest move in Aslef’s long running pay dispute.
An amended timetable with fewer services will run during this time with some starting later and finishing earlier than usual. Many Southern and Thameslink services will only run one train per hour. The Gatwick Express will not run, but the airport will be served by Southern and Thameslink.
Those using South Western Railway trains to attend the Wimbledon tennis championships are advised to allow more time for their journeys.
