Remembrance Day parades will be taking place across areas within Tandridge district council to commemorate soldiers, sailors and airmen killed in conflict.

To help accommodate the parades, there will be some road closures in parts of the district.

Members of the public are asked to buy a poppy, with the proceeds going to help support veterans and members of the British Armed Forces – along with their families and dependants.

On Sunday 12 November at 1.30pm, the Chairman, Councillor Chris Botten and his consort, will be attending the RAF Kenley Tribute at the Kenley Airfield.

Councillors will represent the Chairman at the Remembrance Sunday services across the district which are all listed on the council website.
