Police officers in Crawley have charged a man with rape following an attack at a nightclub in February.

A woman in her late teens reported being sexually assaulted to security staff at the club, by a man she’d just met earlier.

The suspect fled the scene but after a police investigation 22-year-old Fardin Karimzada was arrested and charged with multiple offences including rape.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before a court at a later date.
