Redhill sees rise in numbers since the opening of The Rise

Redhill has seen a significant increase in the number of visitors to the town centre, since The Rise was officially opened in July.

Official data shows that since the opening, economic benefits for the town has shown a rise in business, with visitors travelling from a wider area. In addition, over 200,000 people have visited the Light cinema and leisure venue within the first six months.

James Morris, CEO at The Light Cinemas, said: “We are delighted that The Light has been a significant catalyst for change in Redhill and it shows what can be achieved with a successful collaboration between the Council, local businesses and The Light.
